Langley, Virginia Special Agent Fulton was covered in a light sweat. He smelled his own scent. The DCI"s waiting room was luxuriant far beyond what one would expect. Instead of the wooden benches typical of government facilities, the DCI had plush leather couches. Fulton suspected the Renoir above the fireplace was an original. Despite these extravagances, the room felt tight and claustrophobic. In moments, Fulton would face the final administrative hurtle in Project Crossfire.
