Autumn
I walked around Logan's house. Trying to find anything that could take my mind off of the s**t storm that was my life. I hated that Melissa was out there. She could be cold. Or in pain. Why hadn't this guy made a move yet? What was he waiting for? He wanted to lure me out. Get me alone. Maybe I would just put my sweater back on and just walk around town and wait for him to take me? But I knew I would be stopped before I made it out of the driveway. Logan wouldn't let me leave.

What was his deal? How could he be so angry with me for just trying to protect the kids? His daughter? I just wanted them safe. I did what I had to do. And now he's outside hiding in his garage!? And why? Because he's scared to talk to me. He's scared he's going to lose it with me. Then it hit me.
