Autumn Tuesday afternoon came. The closer it got to 7 the more nervous I got. By the time 6:30 rolled around my stomach was in knots. Aiden and The Carmichael boys decided to invite Macheala and a bunch of other neighborhood kids to a back yard camp out. Beth and Ray were more than happy to host. The kids were all loading up in the car while Aiden grabbed his sleeping bag. I fumbled with my bracelet and looked at the clock. The little booger came running downstairs and stopped in front of me. He wrapped his arms around my waist for a big hug. Aiden usually wasn't a hugger so it took me by surprise. I bent down to his level and pushed the shaggy hair out of his face. "You're so handsome and sweet. I'm so glad you like it here? You do like it here, right? Tell me I didn't make a mistake
