I haven't slept in days. And before that, I hadn't slept much in a couple of weeks. My body felt like it was broken, my veins like were like shards of glass. I could barely see anything. I could tell it was bright in the room I was in. But I still couldn't see much.  I fought hard to keep my eyes open. When I closed them I was in hell. I could see him. Skin rotting and foul-smelling. I could see her body cold and stiff. Lifeless. I could feel all that pain when I slept. I fought, even more, to just stay awake.  Memories of how I got here were slowly starting to come flooding back. I could hear her voice begging for help. I could feel clawing at my chest and face. Deep enough to draw blood. I could feel warmth under my hands, something soft. It was her. I could still smell her perfume. I
