The next morning, I padded downstairs to grab some breakfast and to finish packaging the last of the potions. I wanted to find a couple places around the forest and around Durnbone today to hide them, in case something went terribly wrong within the next couple of weeks. “Morning,” Gaian said, cracking eggs over a pan on the stove. “Sleep well?” I glanced around the kitchen at Thayer, who looked pissed like usual, and Darius, who gave me a small smile.
