I woke up in Gaian’s bed alone. After shuffling around in his closet, I pulled on an oversize hoodie that came down to my mid-thigh. Yawning, I walked out of his bedroom and through the quiet house to the stairs, where I smelled yummy waffles. Darius stood in the kitchen with flour all over his tight black V-neck, drizzling waffle mix into the waffle maker.
