Ethan was lured into Tristan's game, which caused him to direct his anger toward his wife.
The logic his cousin, Lily, used truly seeped into his mind. Ethan was trapped.
"I swear, Ethan, I didn't do it! I've never slept with anyone!" Lily exclaimed.
"And now I'm being forced, Ethan! It's not what I want! He threatened to kill me if I didn't do what he wanted!" she continued.
Hearing Lily defend herself, Tristan moved again, trying to twist the facts to keep Ethan's logic against Lily.
"Not confessing, huh? Well, of course not. No thief ever admits to it!" Tristan said, glancing slyly at the innocent woman beside him.
Then he shifted his gaze to Ethan. Smiling, he said, "I'm not forcing you to believe me. I just hope you can use your logic properly."
