“Goodnight,” Emma politely said with me pulling from up the curve I was buried in, smiling her at her.   “Hugs?” I asked watching her turn from where she was, walking back and staring down to her feet only to realize for the hundred time that her hair was not there to hide her away. I could laugh really, her head picking up as she reached the edge on the couch. I pulled her in the hug, dragging her body to me and squeezing having her laugh.   “Night pumpkin.” I said back, kissing her cheek then letting go.
