She Was Always Going to Be Mine

Raiden: Saturday night. Savage Savior Saturday. Every damn week the Savage boys gathered at the compound—booze, talk, bikes, business, maybe a little blood. Loyalty bled from the walls, engines roared like wolves howling, and everyone showed up for church, even the brothers who swore they didn’t need anyone. I showed up to the Phantoms compound, I did the rounds, watched as Cross handled a delivery, and kept my face cold and unreadable. But my mind was already somewhere else. With her. I had only texted her once. Didn’t push. Just promised. You disappear like that again, I’ll come find you. And next time… I won’t let you run. Just so we’re clear. She hadn’t blocked me. That was all the invitation I needed. So I left early. Didn’t tell the boys. Didn’t owe them s**t tonight.
