Surprisingly it took me longer than I thought to collect my short list. About ten minutes after we separated I have my list completed and am standing back in the middle of the meadow. I don't see Declan anywhere and I am unable to help since I don't know what was on his half of the list.
As I wait I again think of how pretty the meadow is. It would be the perfect spot to have a romantic picnic. It is way too beautiful to wage a war in, even if it is just practicing. And then my mind takes me to a new thought, couldn't Aradia just make a portal for us to come back? I mean if her portals can get us here can't she bring us back?
As soon as the thought comes into my head I see movement from the wooded area up ahead. I guess Declan finally found his items and is heading back to me
