My eyes flutter open but it is dark. The dream I had was so vivid. And soon the memories return along with my body aches and headache. It wasn't a dream. "Rowan?" I turn my head to the voice and try to adjust my eyes to the darkness. It takes a minute but I see Quinn sitting on a couch. Once my eyes adjust and bring her into focus I also see that I am in a hospital bed, I hear the beeping of the monitors, I smell blood and bleach. "Quinn?" I croak. She stands up and comes towards the bed picking up a pitcher and pouring a liquid, that I can only assume to be water, into a cup with a plastic bendy straw. Putting the pitcher down, she picks up the cup and brings it to my mouth. "Drink. It will help with the hoarseness." I don't think, I just take huge gulps
