After about an hour the group is all back together and we all seem ready to continue training. Mona still seems distant so when we pair off to start learning defensive techniques I chose her as a partner. I can see when I do that Declan seems upset that I didn't chose him.
"Defensive training is important because you will not be able to always be on the offense. Most good magic is offensive or caring magic and most dark magic is defensive so the ones we will be up against tomorrow will be using defensive magic. So we will learn to day how to guard ourselves from the common dark magic and how to make out light magic work defensively."
