    I woke with a pounding headache. I guess the amount of magic I used depleted my energy levels and the lack of food all day didn't help replenish anything. It took me a minute to realize the pounding wasn't just in my head but also coming from the door. I don't think I can handle another encounter with Declan without doing something I might regret.     I will admit I am hurting. It hurts to know Darcy would walk away but it also hurts to tell friends that turned their backs on you that they were right and you were wrong.
