The week felt so long, everyday I prayed for the sun to set just to hold him in my arms a bit. It was excruciating to see him acting in love with Sheri, poor Remu did not take it well either. Jess, actually sent him away to the beach cottage as he acted too quickly on instinct when it came to her. Me well I did not do great either but I could not afford to mess up, if I was sent back I won’t see him at all. This will cause chaos within me and I knew it. Raven took over once and she is not to be messed with. She radiated power, I have a lot to learn should I want to keep her in control, but luckily so far she did not bother too much, only when absolute necessary. I was still in my own thoughts when someone pulled me behind a wall, slamming me to the wall, the sparks confirmed exactly who it was and he came in for the kiss. His eyes gleaming as he looked at me, “I can’t wait to see you tonight love”, and my face turned a light pink. I don’t understand how he got me to feel so blushed everytime with the smallest little remarks. “Me too” I say excitedly and watched him disappear again.
Jessica and Vanessa kept having fallouts about Micah and Sheri. Jessica tried every angle to convince Vanessa that they are not meant to be. Their reunion will cause disaster but Vanesse wanted to know nothing about it. I reached the cottage and Jess came running from the other side, “Enigmia, having lunch without me?” she gave me a pouted look. Fine I will make us some wraps quickly. “I bought you a dress” she said out of the blue and I furrowed my brows questioningly. “Jess you know I dont do dresses, well not often.” I say amused at her behavior. I have just been notified that the village is having a function tonight, they asked us to join. My mouth hung, I have never been to any sort of function or party, I gave a little jump twirling with excitement. “I want to look extra nice tonight Jess.” I say determined to catch my mate attention. “I know my child, look, what do you think?” she asked excitedly. “Wow Jess, this must have cost a fortune, it is breathtaking”, I say as I roll the satin fabric between my fingers, tears filling my eyes, “Thank you”.
-Micah-
I feel something stir within me, as if it tried to come out but couldn’t. It must have been my wolf. Tonight is a full moon but not a blue moon as Raven Mentioned. Apparently the blue moon is still a month away. Vanessa was throwing a function for no apparent reason but it somehow made me feel uneasy. Something was not right. I looked at the suit on my bed, I hated wearing suits. Rubbing the back of my neck I stared this suit down as if it was my enemy. I looked at the clock and really just wanted to neglect this suit to go see my mate, but I had no choice to make my presence known. This was not Vanessa’s style I kept repeating to myself. I went over to Sheri’s apartment to discuss this event I did not fully trust. Knocking twice with no answer I opened the door slowly and peeked inside not wanting to cross any boundaries. I found her on a chair, stiffened and staring toward the bed. Furrowing my brows I followed her gaze and my eyes landed on the dress. I gasped and my month hung which brought Sheri out of her trance.

Vanessa told me about the function and I was quite upset but had no choice to act excited. I did not want to attend any sort of event without Remu. I heard a knock on the door and as I answered the maids came in and placed a dress on the bed to wear for tonight. “Mrs. Huntley sent you this dress to wear, she will be sending someone shortly to assist you getting dressed”. As they turned to leave I looked over to the bed and my eyes went wide in shock, I moved backwards until I felt the chair and immediately sat down before I faint. I have no idea how long I was staring at this dress, It was a long satin dress, with a low cut sweetheart neckline,body fit to show every curve on my body perfectly with a long slit on the right leg halfway up to my thigh. It was stunning but it was not any dress. The more I looked at it the more I saw a wedding dress, I was freaking out. We were not close to crossing that line yet, as far as Micah and I know we are still in the process on getting to know each other. I heard a gasp next to me that brought me instantly out of my trance, looking over to Micah, his eyes wide and his body trembling. Then a sudden loud snap made me move my eyes towards the door handle. His fury took over and I was not sure if it was his wolf pushing through or just pure anger. “Micah, we can’t let this happen” I half begged him to get me out of here, to hide me, say I ran away, anything but this. He looked at me, “you can’t run Sheri, your father will destroy everything to find you. I don’t know how to handle this, I am not in full control to think straight.” I admit.

I convinced the council that this function was of utmost importance. This function will seal our treaty with the Cross family. I noticed Micah reacting differently towards Jessica’s daughter and this was out of his norm, he never gave woman the slightest bit of attention. They were hiding something and I wouldn’t stand for it. I will not watch my only grandson run off with a supernatural. I even invited Jess and her daughter to witness this function as I knew something was hidden and Jess should have know her place. I had an agreement with Mister Cross and I was planning on keeping it. Tonight my grandson will be married to a gorgeous hunter…
