I knew Micah would react to this. There was more to his involvement with Sheri than met the eye. “Ladies, Gentlemen, it seems our couple does not…–” “NO,” I heard Vanessa interrupt, "the agreement stands. One day Micah will thank us for being cautious. I would like to proceed." I watched the boardroom nod, and they eventually came to agreement on payment terms. I was amused that she would cross her own grandson's wishes so effortlessly. "Very well, let us leave in order to get our belongings, we should be back later today," I stood up and told Mia to follow. She smiled towards the boardroom. “It was good to meet you all.” We left, and I did not waste time taking a trip. I teleported straight to our lounge in the cottage. "Enigmia, you will have to stick to the name Mia for the next two weeks." "If you have any objections, I would prefer you stay at the home," I informed her in a serious note. She was quick to reassure me that she was quite comfortable being called Mia for a while. I could not help but wonder if this was because she wanted to see Micah again. If things were serious between Micah and Sheri, things would turn very sour for Enigmia, but the potion had already confirmed that someone else was also involved in this relationship. There was definitely a third wheel.

I was overexcited about staying at the hunters village, more to see the dream man than any other reason. I knew he was in a serious relationship, but I can dream a bit, don’t see any harm in that. My clothes were packed in a matter of minutes. I still feel his constant stare on me when we sat in the boardroom. I don’t think he liked the fact that I was there. I’ll just keep my distance in order not to aggravate him, but I surely can’t wait to see him again. Jess mentioned we needed to have a discussion regarding our stay. I am a bit nervous, as I don’t want her to keep me locked in a stupid cottage, then I might just as well stay here. I want to walk freely and experience all the unfamiliar things that caught my eye. “I’m ready Jess, you wanted to see me before we leave?”

"Nothing too serious, Enigmia," I mentioned to her that I had arranged that she could move around freely. She was allowed to use the training grounds, but I needed her to keep Akeelah and Amy at bay when there were humans around. I laid down my plan as I told her that I would mostly keep an eye on Sheri while she needed to keep an eye on Micah and once they retreated for the night, we had to log the day’s events into a file for me to observe. I saw the excitement in her eyes when I mentioned she would be keeping an eye on Micah. What she did not know was that I planned it like this on purpose. I knew Sheri was hiding something and I needed to know what was between Micah and Enigmia. I watched them in that boardroom and there was definitely a strong attraction. Should she bring out Akeelah or Amy, it will be confirmed immediately, but I did not want to risk getting her heart broken. That was the last thing I needed, as that is what would cause the Prophecy to take full effect. I hoped I was doing the right thing, as I sighed, but if Micah was the one, things might be a bit more complicated than I thought. “OK, Sweetheart, are you ready?” I asked, as she nodded her head we teleported right in front of our two-week cottage. Our keys have already been placed at the door for our arrival.

Sheri and I retreated to our rooms early. We will meet up late tonight to discuss a way forward around this obstacle we were placed in. I was lying on my bed, my hands placed behind my head as I stared at the ceiling. I could still see her face in my mind. I am sure I would be able to draw her perfectly as I memorized every detail of her while sitting in that boardroom. Her smile was like the sun itself, her eyes the stars. I was completely love-struck. “Mia,” I whispered to myself, I swore it was the most beautiful name on Planet earth, if not the Galaxy. Her skin looked as smooth as satin… then I felt something stir. I lifted my head, looking down at my body. What? In all my life, nothing got this little man's attention then I think of her. She was out of my league, not to mention supernatural. She was everything the code was against, and I got aroused just by the thought of her. This is not a good sign at all. I jumped off bed and made my way to the bathroom to take a cold shower. I had to get her out of my mind, she was off limits.

I don’t think Micah noticed his attraction to her was more than just her beauty. I was uncertain whether I should prepare him for what is to come or shall I leave it and see how it plays out. I was excited for him, but I also knew the consequences that came with it. Remu and I were torn apart from each other. I know my father is still on the hunt looking for him. He promised that his daughter would have nothing to do with the supernatural. That was his kind way of telling me that Remu would be executed. I constantly worry about him. I tried reaching out to him, but I had no luck so far. I knew he was still alive. I could feel it, I just could not understand why he was not coming forward. My body ached for his touch every day. I considered myself extremely lucky to have met someone like Micah. Who knows where I would have ended up if he did not come forward with this agreement. My only concern was his Grandmother and the council trying to push things faster than we planned. I stood up and went to the bathroom to freshen up before meeting Micah. Then it dawned on me, what if he chooses her over me and this agreement collapses, my father will put me right into the dating game again. I could not allow this. Maybe it is better Micah figures out the situation with the girl on his own. At least that would buy me a bit more time.
