-Belle-
I came around the corner with great speed. My vehicle slid slightly from hitting the brakes at the entrance of the house. I looked into the distance and saw Enigmia's content reading a book in the training grounds. I felt my racing heart slow down. How could Jessica make it sound as if Enigmia's life was in danger? I swear she would give me a heart attack at this rate.
Feeling more peaceful after seeing Enigmia, I squinted my eyes towards the front door. “Belle, You must meet Jess in the library,” she shouted from her training area and I waved at her. I entered the cottage and moved directly towards the library. What possibly could be so devastating that she had to see me immediately, I thought to myself. I knocked on the door before entering, hearing the door pushing papers aside. I stepped carefully as my eyes scanned the papers across the room. With a frown, I looked around the library, but Jess was nowhere in sight. Therefore, I moved deeper into the room, trying to go around the papers, but it seemed to be an impossible task.
Jessica came around the corner with an enormous book, frantically flipping through the pages. I stood halfway in the room watching her like a hawk. I could not understand what made her so distressed. She did not even bother closing the book and threw it into a corner, my eyes watching it fly across the room onto another pile of books. My brows furrowed at the heap lying in the corner. “What is going on, Jess?” Her eyes flung towards me, she seemed completely out of control. “Belle.” She ran over the pile of papers and grabbed my hand, pulling me towards the table. Read this she stated fearfully, pushing the paper towards me and went back towards the bookshelves. I was completely caught off guard by her behavior, but I took the scroll and read through it, my brows lifting in confusion. “What is this about?” I asked, moving towards her at the bookshelf. Glued to on spot, she was busy studying for books she turned towards me. “What do you mean, what is it about?” she said annoyingly. I was completely at a loss of words. “Did you read it,” she asked in frustration. "Yes, Jess, but I don’t understand…" She did not let me finish my sentence as she blurted out, "It’s about Enigmia." I picked up the paper reading through it again, I still don’t see it I say as fury cross her face. “She is a tribrid, which is rare in our world unless there is a prophecy attached to her.” Thinking of how to answer carefully, I moved towards the couches. “Jess, Please sit and explain, you are scaring me with this behavior.”
-Jessica-
Fuck, how do I get her to understand. I have noticed that I started swearing a bit more since I found this forsaken scroll. I grabbed the scroll and sat down. “Enigmia has a wolf and a demon as well,” I stated, watching her face turn into shock, but she still did not grasp the severity of the situation. “Belle, we have to protect her.” With squinted eyes, she pushed her lips together “And exactly how do we do that?” her question came. “I don’t know but without her true mate she will destroy our world, your world.” I laid it out in the worst case scenario. She jumped up and started pacing up and down. "Are you sure?" "Who is her true mate?" she started questioning. Why the hell does she think I know who her real mate is? “Yes, I am very confident that this prophecy is linked to her,” I replied.
“And the mate?” she demanded. I answered her with an infuriated voice: "I don’t know." "But I am trying my best to keep her with me at all times to find out." I have to make sure he won’t hurt her, otherwise we have a very uncertain future. How will I put this to her? Mmmm… "Belle, this is not just any prophecy, it is 'The Red Opal'. This prophecy is linked to the Lycanthropes."
“What?” she half shouted, horrified.
-Enigmia-
It’s been two weeks now and Jess was taking me on a trip to the Hunters village. She never took me on her trips no matter how much I begged. She mentioned that she would need help but, unfortunately, would have to shut out Akeelah and Amy completely in order for the hunters to not grow suspicious about being a tribrid. Apparently it is frowned upon, as if I could choose not to be one, but I would not change them for the world. I was quite nervous but excited at the same time as it was my first trip.
These past two weeks were absolute hell with training when it came to Belle. Jess told her about Akeelah as well as Amy, and she drilled me like never before. My entire body looked different to what it used to be. I noticed the difference when Akeelah and Amy came, but now there was not a part of me that was not toned. I could not understand why she suddenly became so strict when it came to training, but I had the feeling they were hiding something. After they met at the library, Belle became more focused on my training and Jessica put me through all sorts of scenarios to learn how to stay composed in different situations. I just found it odd, but Akeelah and Amy seemed to enjoy every moment. Amy struggled to stay calm and composed, Akeelah seemed to have a problem with authority. It taught me a lot about them and how to control these situations when it came to them. I wondered if other beings also went through this sort of training. I can’t wait to see other people. I have only known Belle and Jess my whole…
"WOW." I gasped as I saw the mansion come into sight. Was that where we would be going? It was gorgeous, so modern to what I’m used to. I could not help staring at the surroundings. As we passed the training ground, my eyes grew in awe of the structures and size of it, until I saw him.
My eyes felt dark, glued to him, a strange feeling inside me begged to go to him. He had Black medium-length hair, toned from top to bottom. I jumped onto my knees in the back seat to watch him as we passed, practically drooling. I had never seen anything as attractive as him… then he was gone, my eyebrows dropped as I pulled my bottom lips as if I was going through a tantrum at any moment. Belle could have driven a bit slower. I saw other males walking around but nothing compared to him. I believe he might be the most handsome man in this village. I had to really put in effort as my body wanted to go back...
