Belle and Sheri did not make it easy. They really were doing a great job acting their part. As I neared the cliff, I felt the presence of the wolves, but they seemed to be hiding for now, probably watching the show we are putting on. “Get to your knees' warlock,” Belle spat venomously. I lifted my arm and my heart broke as the arrow left Sheri’s Bow, right through my hand, I looked at her shockingly. I knew I had given the instruction, I just did not think it would come from Sheri. She had already pulled another arrow pointing. I looked downwards and back at them. Belle shot towards me and I moved in time to escape her arrow and at that moment I smirked at them and jumped. My body collided with the water and I started looking for entrances. I swam underwater to the entrance and saw Micah and Enigmia on their way out. I shook my head pointing to them to go back. Both of them furrowed their brows but moved back into the cave. Just as we emerged, I heard Micah say, "What the f**k, Remu." I got out and looked at my hand still bleeding, heartbroken, shocked but at the same time proud. “Remu, you are bleeding,” Enigmia said frantically as she ran towards me. Micah got out and grabbed my hand, inspecting it closely, “This was caused by a hunter's arrow. You don’t have power at this moment, that's why you are not healing. It's laced with a special herb mixture to block your power.” He confirmed and ripped his shirt to tie it around my hand, so the bleeding could stop. “Who did this to you?” Enigmia asked with anger coursing through her veins. “Calm down Enigmia, if you awake Raven now we will have disaster. It was Sheri. I gave them an order to do it to make our plan more believable. I just did not think it would hurt so much coming from her,” I admitted. Both looked at me shocked. "But why?" Enigmia questioned.

“I am lost, Remu, why would you need a plan that works against you?” I asked curiously. "My King, My Queen, I’m afraid you are in danger. There is a wolf pack that is trying to find you. They keep searching around the area you jumped off of the cliff. Luckily, Belle knew you jump here often and not many people know about air pocket caves as it is scarce." “Do you know which pack?”
“Unfortunately not, but they are definitely badly trained, I felt their presence immediately. It was the Alpha that took interest in the cliff,” he confirmed. “The Black Pack,” I stated loudly. "They are after Enigmia. The Alpha found you before I saved you when you were an infant". “Why did you not teleport Remu?” I asked. They had the coolest power and they barely used it. "You can't teleport if you do not know the location. Thus, the reason we always have maps." “Now I can’t save you at all as I am stuck without power,” he apologized. “Don’t be silly Remu, you did plenty, we would have emerged straight into danger if it was not for you, at least I have my power, shall we go back to camp?” Enigmia say cheerfully to lighten the mood. “Yes, Remu jumped up, but then you teleport both to the village after dropping me, Enigmia can not be traced. We need to act quickly. I placed a barrier around the camp area, but I am uncertain as to how long it will hold due to my power that faded,” I said concerningly.
“No, I shot down the plan, Enigmia, you teleport with Remu to fetch Sheri and go straight to Jessica. Do not leave the cottage until I get back,” I demanded. “But Micah…” Cutting her off, I explained, “We have a history, he will retreat once he knows I’m part of the hunt with Belle. Do not fear love, all will be fine. I promise, I will see you soon, but for now you need to get Remu and Sheri out,” he stated. “Sheri will be against it, I say, disheartened. She is a hunter and wants to be included. I have already tried to convince her otherwise,” Remu stated. I looked at him with a smirk. “Yeah, I know, but the only way for you to heal quicker is to have her close by, so she has no choice. You are welcome to tell her that I demand it. She will listen as a hunter. She is not allowed to disobey my order,” I stated. I could see I had lifted a heavy burden off his shoulders as he could not protect her at that moment. “Go Love, I know you can do this, you are strong,” I motivated. She smiled lightly, her eyes already carrying sadness as we needed to part, but I had to get everyone safe.

“Clive, have you found the warlock yet?” I shouted with irritation. “No Alpha, he has disappeared,” he confirmed. f**k, I must do everything myself. I was ready to jump into the water when an arrow passed me, scratching into my skin. My eyes flinched towards the direction the arrow came from. f*****g Micah. I swear this hunter just won’t die. If Micah was in the forest, surely his troops would not be far behind. His constant interference was getting me on edge. “Clive, get the pack back to the packland, Micah f*****g Huntley has just arrived. We can not risk it now.” Another arrow went past me, missing me barely but hit one of my men, who fell to the ground instantly. “RETREAT NOW!” He had already taken so many of my men I could not afford to lose more… I turned and looked him straight in the eyes, his arrow already pointed but this time not mistakenly, he was going for the kill. He was busy hunting me… I turned and shifted to my wolf running towards the packland. My wolf was already affected by the little scratch that was laced with wolfsbane. f**k I just need to cross the border, then I should be fine. At least it did not go deep, so I should be able to make the pack house just not as fast as I’m used to. I really needed to end this hunter, but even with our strong sense of smell, it was impossible to trace him. He was like a f*****g Ghost.
Just as I went across our border, hiding behind a tree, I heard his voice shouting towards me. “Lucky bastard, I will get you Damian, It’s a matter of time…” f**k how did he get up that cliff so fast, I usually did not fear hunters, but this one was different, I should have killed him the day we crossed paths, when he was only a boy…
