Lyra

Two Years Later, I finally accepted my fate and for this two years I never left this room not once, he really meant it when he said I wasn't allowed to leave the room, I would look out through the window everyday craving for my freedom, waiting to finally be able to move outside,

The last time Elin came she said he told people, I was ill and need rest, and I loved being inside and that's something he respected,

I don't know if I should hate him or hate myself, my Father must have thought he was a good guy but my Dad didn't know, he was wrong but the thing his I am not allowed to talk so how would I let my dad know and if he knows would he take me away from here, the painful answer was No.

My Dad doesn't care if I was happy or sad, he just wants me to look pretty and that's all.

Even after the slap I still look like a goddess with unreal beauty, and since I have been in doors for two years now… I looked even more beautiful.

Whuff, I breathed heavily, as I stared at the mountain from my window,

I was still looking at the window when I heard the door open, I thought it's Elin since she would always bring food for me, sometimes she would come to clean, dress me up. Then leave. So I didn't turn from the window.

“My wife” I heard, and I turned to look at Alpha Draven standing at the front of my door, I looked at him with wide eyes,

He took gently steps towards me, and I stood up from the window side, then walked to him,

I gestured asking if I could help him, but he doesn't understand.

“Come with me” he said and I nodded, he took my hands in his, and my heart skipped a beat, this was the first time I was being held, I do know why but I think maybe after this two years he as finally come to realize that I was lovable.

He guided me out of my room and into the hall, the hall was a little dark cause it's like and underground tunnel to my room, when we finally came out he walked me towards the outside of the castle.

I could hear the maids whisper,

“How she looks even more beautiful”

“What a lovely couple, they fit each other so much”

“He must really love her” they said ,

And I couldn't help but blush, he loves me… I know I am being stupid but what if he as finally loved me, I'm sure.

We walked for a hours but I felt like it was seconds, I haven't been outside for two years, and when the breeze passed through me I smiled, and it wasn't fake it was real, I breathe in the air as I walked behind him, I was finally standing beneath the sky, my smile was so bright,

“Lyra” he called, Lyra, I know since after the marriage we haven't really talked to me but he never calls me by my name,he calls me wife. But I didn't think much of it.

“This is the garden, you can come here whenever you want it's all yours” he said and I smiled, he got me a gift…. I remembered in my Father's house the maids always says, when you have a fight with your husband he would buy you a gift to apologize,

“My brother would be coming back to the palace tomorrow and a lot of elders would be around, the kingdom would be filled with people, and you are the center of attraction, don't look sad, I want every wolf to know that You are my Luna” I was confused at first then he held my hands tight, till I felt it burn,

“Don't think I let you out because I pity you, I let you out because It's already looking suspicious that you haven't show your face for two years, and if you let your Alpha Kael know I hit you, I would kill that stupid maid if yours” he said angryliy,

What just happened, I thought, I was still processing my thoughts when I heard a voice,

“Alpha Draven, what are you doing here” Lady Selene asked, and he immediately let go of my hands like as if I disgust him.

“Nothing, just leacturing her, you know Ace is coming tomorrow, and the people are already getting suspicious and some doubt I really married her, so I have to show them I won her and I would always be the most powerful Alpha” he said softly to her,

“Okay, now that you have showed her, this place lets go”

He didn't even give me a look before a lift with her,

I stood they, confused, a I felt so stupid, I knew he would never see me as a woman so why do I keep becoming foolish, but who cares…. The most important thing is that I'm free,

His brother his coming tomorrow, does that mean Lady Selene husband… I wonder how he would feel if he realizes his wife was in love with us brother.

“Lady Lyra” Elin rushed to me,

“I thought you ran away, but the maids told me they saw the Alpha walked you here” she breathing heavily,

“Elin…” I called my voice a bit rapsy but my curiosity was on fire, I wanted to know about Lady Selene’s husband.

“What” I shouted, we were now on my bed the doors of my room locked, I knew talking in the garden was dangerous, if people find out I could talk my father would kill me, so we quickly came to my room.

“You mean, Her husband is dead” I asked in shock,

“Yes, that's what the maids said”

“Then who is Ace” I asked..

“I have no idea, I am new in the pack so I don't really know, who Ace is” she said,

“Okay, you can go now but make sure no one knows I can talk if not, my father would kill us both” I threatened her,

As she left I feel in the bed,

“Ace” I said, I have never heard a name like this in my life, and to think my husband has a brother.

I totally forgot today was the day my husband's brother was coming, so when I reached the hall on our way to the garden the maids were all busy, moving from one place, I wanted to go with Elin but she wasn't in the hall when I came out so I decided to go alone, I was about to reach the doors of the castle when I saw Elin in the dining hall arranging things, immediately a smile appeared on my face and I rushed to her but I didn't look well causing me to collide with a maid who was in a hurry,

I tried to hold myself, I can't fall, if I get hurt I would be locked in my room for another years, I tried to hold myself not wanting to fall, from the corner of my eyes I could see Elin rushing towards me but I think it was too late so I shut my eyes, as I prepared for the pain but it never came.

What ?, I asked myself, then I realized hands on my waist, did Elin mange to catch me I thought, but this wasn't Elin, this person smells of wood and forest, and the scent was so relaxing,

I opened my eye slowly to see who it was and…….

I was speechless though I have always been but this was different, it was a man and he was staring straight into my soul, his face was beautiful, I know I was a very limited person but I have never seen a face like his before, his eyes was a stormy grey colour and his hair was wild and dark, I felt like running my hands through it but what caught my attention the most was the scar running across his eyebrows, I subconsciously raised my hands to his scar, and caress it, he didn't look angry, he didn't stop me, rather he looked at me like he was trying to register something, confusion perhaps.

“Ahem” I heard and that's when I realized I was still in his arms, he didn't push me away like I was disgusting rather he helped me stand and when he was sure I was okay he shifted back, I felt so ashamed of myself for drooling at a man that is not my husband, so I looked down at my feet, but then I felt his eyes on me, which made me feel more ashamed but then he walked towards me,

He raised my chin up with a finger, and he gave me that look again,

“Ace, and you” he said, and my heart skipped a beat, his voice was heaven but I guess the moon doesn't like me,

“She can't talk Ace, she's a mute and she's Dravens Luna” she said, I hated her this very moment but what she said was true, I am His brother's wife and Luna,

“Selene” he said with hostility, I was confused, does he hate her like I do, but before I could think about anything, Elin rushed to my side,

“Lady Lyra, let's go” she said and I nodded but I could still feel his eyes on me even as I walked away.
