Chapter 1

2 Months Later

Mist's POV

Its been 2 months since the 'incident', I lost my job because i was late, yet again, for work that morning and have been trying to find a new job since. I told V what had happen and to my surprise the same thing happened to her but with a different guy. A parently she was 'drunk' as well and hooked up with a guy called lucas.

'Atleast she knew his name' my mind said.

Lately I have been having morning sickness and getting dizzy often but I just ignore it thinking its just a stomach flu. V suggested I go and have a checkup and see if I was really ok, sometimes she can be really protective of me. So that's why I'm at the hospital getting a checkup.

"Congratulation Ms Jonson your 2 months pregnant!" she said happily

Pregnant?

PREGNANT?!!!!

I'm pregnant?

OH s**t!

I thank the doctor and leave the hospital and drive home. As I open the door to my apartment I see V sitting watching TV. When she sees me she jumps up and asks me how it was.

"I'm pregnant" I whisper quietly hoping she heard me.

"YOUR WHAT?!!" Yup she heard me.

"How did this happen? Wait. Was it with the one night stand?" She just had to remind me!

"Yes he's the only one I've had s*x with" I sob into her chest clutching her shirt which for a fact i know is wet now.

"Oh M, don't worry I'm here for you and I'll help you with the baby" She said trying to sooth me.

Morning came and I decided it was time to go job hunting again since now I have to think of my baby's future. I got up and went to the bathroom to have a shower. 20 minutes later i was done. Yeah I have really long showers, it helps me think.I looked at the time and it read 7:30, I got dressed in jeans and a business shirt (don't know what they call shirts like that for women) and made my way to V's room to find it empty.

"She must have gone to work early" I said out loud.

I made my way to the kitchen and found my laptop there, opening it the first thing to come onto the screen was a job advertisement at Royce Airways and Industry. when I looked at the article it said in need of s personal assistant for the CEO. After eating a large ham sandwich I made my way to RAI (Royce Airways and Industry)

At Royce Airways and Industry

I made my way to the receptionist on the ground floor and told her I read about the job offer online and she directed me to the 17th floor and said I need to talk to the receptionist there. I mad my way to the 17th floor and when the elevator dinged I walked out to see a fake blond girl around the age of 24 maybe, standing behind a desk in what looks like a tight pencil skirt and a blouse that the two top buttons are undone so it shows her cleavage.

's**t' was the word that went through my head when I saw her.

"Oh you must be the applicant for the new PA job" She fake smiled at me.

If looks could kill I'd be 6ft under. I wonder what her problem is. I nod my head and hand her my resume.

"Wait here" she orders me and walked away into the oak double doors which lead to, I assume, the CEO's office.

Five minutes later she walks out and says I can go in now.

'Ok deep breath Ria you can do this, for you and your baby.' my mind encourages me.

I walk into the office only to find the man I've been looking for.....

Xavier's POV

It had been 2 months since that girl left me in that hotel room with a single not that said 'I'm sorry'. I've been trying to find her but that's been proven impossible since I don't know her name. These past 2 months I have not stopped thinking about her. how her long blond hair falls down her sexy body and how her blue eyes look through my soul. I haven't gotten layed in the months that I've been thinking about her. I know I've changed my player ways.

I get pulled out my thought when my secretary Bethany opens the door and says there's an applicant for my PA position. To be honest I don't know why I hired Bethany, she's annoying, irritating, and is always trying to get in my pants. She's been working here for 3 months now and I've only had s*x with her once and she thinks she's my girlfriend. Like b***h please.

"Send her in" I tell her coldly not looking up from the papers I've been staring at for the last 10 mins. I didn't even realize the applicant came in until she spoke.

"Sir I'm here to apply for the job as your PA sir"

My eyes go wide. That voice. I know that voice anywhere. Looking up I see her.

The girl I've been looking for.

The girl whose conquered my thoughts.

The girl from 2 months ago.

I looks at her and she hasn't changed a bit, her long blond hair, her crystal blue eyes, her kissable lips. s**t she has me turned on. By the look on her face she knows its me too because she quickly turns and tries to walk out. Key word TRIED.

"STOP!" I shouted and thankfully she stopped. Turning around so her body faces me but the head was down like she didn't want to look at me. Shes scared.

"Whats your name?" I ask her calmly walking infront of my desk and resting on the edge.

"Mist sir Mist Starlet Jonson sir" Even her name sound angelic.

"Sit down Ms Jonson" I tell her motioning my hand to the seat. She nervously sits down and hands her resume to me and I sit back down on my seat and open her folder. She wasn't experience. No college background actually no educational background at all... She was 20 years old and her birthday was the day I met her. But what caught my eye was that her only job experience was working at a cafe for 1 year, She had no family background.. However I'm not letting her go. She was mine. Closing the folder I looked up to her and she looked like she relaxed and was now looking around the room.

"We've met haven't we?" the question finally comes out my mouth.

"Yes" she looks down and answers quieter then a whisper but I heard.

"Why did you leave without saying anything?" She looks up and has confusion allover her face.

"I left a note" Anger boils up inside me but I knew I had to stay calm. For her sake.

"Why didn't you wake me up?" I ask but to my disappointment she stays quiet. Changing the subject I ask her a few questions to which she answers with ease. Until I ask her about family members and she stiffened.

"With all do respect sir, my personal life is none of your business" she answered with a slit hint of anger.

"Hmm ok" feisty I like it.

After observing her for 5 minutes, I finally broke the silence.

"I want you to start tomorrow, be here by 7am. I don't tolerate people who are late" her head snapped up as soon as I said that. She gave me a bright smile and jumped up.

"Thank you sir you" she said happily and shook my hand.

Mist's POV

I was so happy he gave me the job. I thanked him and said my goodbye and exit his office. I didn't tell him about the baby because I was scared he would take it away from me or worse, reject it saying it's not his. I know I should of told him and I will but not today. I made my way home and I texted V saying I got the job and she replied saying we should celebrate but I was to tired to go anywhere.

As soon as I got home, I made my way to my bedroom and collapsed on my bed and not soon after sleep took over me.
