As I walked towards the cafeteria with my packed lunch in my hands, my eyes were looking all around for Abel. I just wanted to thank him for all he did for me. I got a good grade on my dress and Mrs. Turner personally appreciated my work after class. I was so happy that I can’t help but skip through my steps along the hallway. Entering the cafeteria, I marched towards the table I found him on the day I gave him skittles, only to find none of the four boys in sight. Instead two girls were sitting on the table eating cafeteria food. A little disappointed, I sat down on the same table asking if I may and ate my lunch in silence looking ever so often towards cafeteria doors, expecting him to come through with others in tow. Sighing, I went back to finish my sandwich and fruits. Nothing sweet.
