My head was pounding as I tried opening my eyes for the third time.
“Sh*t” the light was making it so much worse. Sitting up, I pushed the covers away from my body as I made my way to the bathroom with my eyes half open. After peeing, as I was washing hands I caught sight of my reflection in the bathroom mirror. I had huge dark circles surrounding both of my eyes and my hair was a bird’s nest. I haven’t combed it in a while since I always pull them back into a bun for work. I also seem to have lost some face fat which would’ve been fantastic if my face didn’t look so pale. Washing my face and finally combing my hair and pulling it into a ponytail I came out of the room for some water. Theresa was eating breakfast in the kitchen, all dressed. She’s my roommate who moved in 2 days back.
