I was grounded again, but this time around I don’t mind it much. It’s not like I’ve places I have to be. After I lied to mom that I’ll deliver the caps she knitted to the nursing home as she had some appointment to go to, I underestimated the amount of time it’ll take to go from Abel’s house to the nursing home and coming back home. By the time I came back, she was already in the driveway, sitting inside her car as she forgot to take the house keys with her. What followed was an hour long lecture of her expressing how disappointed she was with me and eventually grounding me.
