“Poisoned?” I asked, surprised.
“Yes. Many substances, mainly wolf-bane can poison and weaken a wolf. This can prevent wolves from shifting, using their senses or even healing as fast as we normally do.” She explained.
“But who could have poisoned you?” Marg asked, half-angry and half-thoughtful.
“First we have to see if it is indeed the action of wolf-bane. If it’s the case, you could have ingested or inhaled it by mistake, some wolf-bane grows on the meadow, regardless of how much we try to get rid of them, the poisoning-herb always finds a way back.” Doctor Kayla sighed, “We can test your blood for any signs of it. If it’s the case, we should really watch what you eat and where you go.”
Marg brought her hands to her face in aggravation, “And now this…”
