"For a minute there, I was thinking I'd choke to death" Claire said sarcastically after her choking fits were over.
Jax and Eric looked at each other knowing that she was referring to the little scuffle they had over the water.
Eric was still stroking her hair but stopped when she looked at him. He recoiled his hand to himself.
"Thank you" Claire told him and Eric smiled.
Claire looked towards her mother's bed and saw her mother looking at the three of them.
"Mom.." Claire said excitedly. She stood up from her chair and walked towards Issa.
"It's a good thing you're awake. How are you feeling?" Claire asked.
Issa smiled "I feel okay"
"I'll go call the doctor" Jax said and left the room.
"Do you feel uncomfortable? Anything? You want water? Eric, please bring some water" Claire sai
