Danny’s POV The morning air is sharp, clean. I step out of my car, letting it slide into my lungs like cold water. For a moment, I just stand there, savoring it. The sun is already up, warm and bright over the school building. Students are everywhere. Walking. Laughing. Today feels good. I roll my shoulders and shut the car door with a lazy push.
