Basic starter pack

[ Name: Dante Eyodoro (F-Rank) ] [ Status: Alive ] [ Race: Human ] [ Profession: Tyrant (Unique) ] [ Submission Gauge: 10% (Tier 9) ] [ Note: Target's submission is too low. Stats and Abilities are locked. ] [ Begin Random Extraction (Cost: 10 Evil Coins) ] I raised a brow as I read through Dante's status panel, ‘Who could have guessed that that trash would awaken a unique grade profession.’ The heavens truly are blind. ‘This works in my favour though. Even if I eventually draw the gacha, I hope I get one of his talents. Even my uncommon talent is very useful.c I decided not to draw the gacha yet, I'm not sure how much my current Evil and Desire coins can do, but one thing I knew for sure is that it wouldn't be much. All that's left are the stats description and the Land Lease in my inventory...’ … [ Strength: Raw muscular force, lifting capacity, and physical striking power. ] … [ Speed: Gross motor velocity, full-body quickness, and evasive reflexes. ] … [ Dexterity: Fine motor precision, hand-eye alignment, and technical manipulation. Affects accuracy, efficiency in crafting or handling complex machinery, and the execution of delicate, lethal strikes. ] … [ Constitution: Biological resilience, bone density, and environmental tolerance. Affects cellular regeneration speed, immune response, and the body's survival threshold against bleeding, physical trauma, and environmental factors.] … [ Intelligence: The foundational stat for Aetheric affinity. Affects the host's raw mana capacity, reserves, and inherent affinity for energy-manipulation skills. ] … [ Wisdom: Cognitive depth, deductive reasoning, and psychological fortitude. Enhances situational awareness, tactical split-second decision-making, and structural resistance against mental stress, illusions, or external corruption. ] … [ Charisma: Personal presence, magnetic charm, and commanding aura. For the Overlord profession, this directly amplifies leadership weight and accelerates the psychological potency and germination rate of all planted seeds. ] … [ Land Lease ] [ Type: One-use item ] [Description: Use this to manifest your territory. ] … I nodded my head, before turning around to leave. I went for a walk because I assumed there would be a phenomenon when the apocalypse began, the most common of which is usually earthquakes. It would be sad if I got crushed to death in my house before the apocalypse even began. But now I had a feeling this cold will be the first challenge in the apocalypse and I had to prepare myself for it. ‘I need to browse the systems market, see if I can get anything and what things are useful there. Then I can plan my next course of action.’ … It took me about ten minutes to get back to my apartment, mostly because I was barely paying attention to the road and was instead focused on the panel before me. If this was before, I might have been crashed into multiple times by people or worse, vehicles, but due to the extremely heavy snow in this region that has never experienced snow, the roads have been blocked and there's no progress in clearing them for the time being. So everyone is restricted to their homes or pedestrian walks. The system market contained all sorts of things, the list was so long I couldn't even scroll through it all, and many things were locked due to my low level and rank. Thankfully, there was a filter which I used. As I slumped in bed, reading through item after item, I learned a few things. Firstly, as useful as my talents are, right now, I can't effectively use them. A basic building blueprint costs thirty desire coins, and that's just the blueprint. To actually build the structure, I'll need to supplement the blueprint with materials; wood, iron, plastic and the likes. Yet, this structure will be segmented but overall empty, like a hollow shell. If I want to place rooms, I'll need to buy room blueprints, the available ones on my rank of which cost between 7 and 21 Desire coins. These blueprints will also need to be supplemented with materials. Furniture, defences, walls and every other thing follows the same mechanics. ‘If I'm not rich, I can't do anything.’ I immediately concluded. This conclusion then led to my next train of thought, the other way to get coins is through Carnal Revenue. ‘Guess I'll have to settle for the starter pack then.’ The moment I entered the system market, I saw a recommendation: [ Basic Starters Pack] [ Type: Combo Item ] [ Grade: Common ] [ Description: A basic survival bundle distributed by the World Core to newly awakened Hosts. Slightly increases the chance of surviving the first wave of planetary restructuring. ] [ Contents: 1x Skill: Basic Appraisal (Common), 1x Skill: Aether Manipulation (Common), 1x Chosen Skill (Common), 1x Chosen Weapon (Common), 1x Chosen Trait (Common), 1x Basic Clothing Set (Common) ] [ Cost: 10 Desire coins ] … If I got the starter kit, I already knew the weapon I would pick. A spear is common sense. In case of a monster breakout, which I'm still highly suspicious would happen, I can fight at mid range, not too far but not too close. And with my prior experience as a maze bearer in my high school musical band, it shouldn't take me too long to get used to it. Many would probably pick a sword for its cool factor, forgetting that they have no experience fighting monsters. As for skill, while browsing, I've set my eyes on one; [ Vicious Mockery ] [ Type: Skill ] [ Grade: Common ] [ Description: Allows the user to channel raw Aether directly into their vocal cords to amplify the psychological impact of negative words, and inflict direct mental sting on the target.] [ Cost: 11 Desire coins ] … This is a provocation skill. Although I can't use my other talents, that doesn't mean I'll abandon them all. With this skill, my ability to humiliate and plant the Seed of Evil would receive a nice upgrade. ‘Unfortunately, I can't pick more than one skill for the starter pack. Still, I would never have been able to afford this skill at this point in the apocalypse, so this isn't that bad.’ ‘The starter pack mentioned a world core, not something from the pious vice system… this confirms my previous thoughts.’ As for traits, I've also set my eyes on two, but before I proceed with anything, there's something else I have to do. ‘Time to draw Dante's gacha.’
