He’d gone too far. Beau only got to enjoy truly showing Josie who was boss for a few minutes, before cold, hard reality hit him.
He found his bed and sank into it, feeling even worse than earlier in the day when his best hope for getting his sight back informed him they weren’t even at the human trials phase yet.
