"Amanda, Mary is here! Bumaba ka na malalate kayo sa school."
" Yes mom coming!"
Hi, I am Amanda Gomez, today is our first day of school, and my friend, Mary, is already here. I move as fast as I can. Dumaan ako sa library ni daddy para magpaalam sa kanya and as I reach our living room I give my mom a peck on her cheeks and bid goodbye.
"Take care okay?"
"Yes mom, love you."
Hinila ko na si Mary baka malate na talaga kami panigurado traffic na. Habang papunta kami sa school kinamusta ko siya.
"Mary! Namiss kita!!! How was your vacation?"
"It's boring! I can't do anything there."
"Huh? Sabi mo maganda don?"
"Well, yes maganda yung place, it looks sureal. The scenery is so instagrammable at ang fresh air but I miss my life here. Ang hina ng signal at wala akong makausap don."
Supposedly kasama niya ako but I needed to accompany my mom on her recent business trip in Hawaii. Tinatawanan ko lang siya habang nagrereklamo buong byahe. Hanggang makarating kami sa school naiinis sya at feeling ko konti nalang iiyak na sya. HAHAHAHA
"Hey, stop that. We need to find our room."
"Okay, let's go. Buti nalang classmates tayo."
Ang daming students, naeexcite na ako. Hopefully, maging masaya at memorable ang college life ko.

I was standing here in front of the main gate when someone caught my attention.
"I saw her again."
"Who? The girl you've been talking about since enrollment?
"Yes, she's really pretty. I want to know her name."
"Then ask her once you see her again dude. Hahaha. Oh! By the way let's go, hahanapin pa natin yung room natin."
We got up from our seats and start moving. While looking for our classroom I am still thinking of her. I've seen you twice already but I still don't know your name.
"Dude, B105 right? This is room."
As we enter the first thing I notice is her. Yes!!! Thank you, Lord. Lakas ko talaga sayo. I sit next to her pero hindi ko agad tinanong, nakikiramdam muna ako. She's really pretty and so calm. A few minutes later, our professor came.
"Good morning. I am Felicia Madrigal your professor for this subject. You can call me Ma'am Madrigal. Are we clear?"
"Yes, Ma'am Madrigal."
"Since it's your first day, you will have to introduce yourself first. State your name, age, nickname, and hobby, okay? Let's start with you. "
While waiting for our turn medyo kinakabahan ako. Buti pa itong si Mary madami ng kakilala agad, pagpasok ba naman namin kinausap niya agad yung iba naming kaklase, sabi niya mabuti na daw yun para marami siyang connection. Balak niya ata maging president hahaha.
"Mary ikaw na. Go sissy." Bulong ko sa kanya tapos kinindatan niya ako.
"Hi everyone, I am Mary Samonte. Mary for short, I am 18 years old and in my free time I love to draw."
"Thank you Ms. Samonte. Next please."
Tumayo na ako at naglakad papunta sa unahan.
"Hi. I am Amanda Gomez, you can call me Amanda. I am also 18 years old and singing is my hobby."
"Really? Can we hear a sample from you, Ms. Gomez?"
"Ahmm."
"Kidding, I know nahihiya pa kayo but soon I know you will eventually come out of your shell. Thank you, Ms. Gomez"
"Thank you, ma'am."
Amanda Gomez, what a beautiful name, suitable for her and she's perfect for me. I smirk at that thought.
"Dude stop dreaming. It's your turn."
"Huh? Oh yeah."
"Hi, good morning. My name is Klein Miranda. Klein for short, 19 and basketball is my hobby."
"Would you like to join the basketball team, Mr. Miranda?
" Yes ma'am. I would like to try and hopefully I manage to enter the team."
"Okay. If I am not mistaken tryouts will be on Saturday.
"Okay ma'am, thank you."
"Thank you, next please."
"Hi, I am Tristan Cabral. You can call me Tan, 19 and basketball is also my hobby."
"Same hobby with Mr. Miranda, you can join the tryouts as well."
" We're friends ma'am, it's one of many things we have in common."
"I see. Thank you, next please."
After the introduction, ma'am Madrigal explained the rules and regulations to us until she dismissed us.
"New target na ba?"
"Bro! Hahaha. I'm not like you."
"We'll see."
I look at her before we leave, yeah, we'll see.
