Leo felt like the lowest of the low. He had to tell Peter at some point that he was sleeping with Sara. That they’d been together for almost two months. It wasn’t fair to him that Leo kept it a secret.
As Leo laid in bed the night before, wrapped up in Sara, he knew why he waited so long to confront Peter or Sara. He didn’t want things to change. He wanted his best friend, and he wanted Sara. But he couldn’t have both of them in the same world, which meant he had to come clean.
