“I…” Sara didn’t know what to say. She couldn’t form words. If Peter knew about Leo, he wouldn’t be saying that, but she kept them separate. She wanted the two men in her life to be apart. One to hang out with, one to sleep with. One as a friend, one as a f**k buddy. Neither was jealous of the time she spent with the other because neither knew about the other. It worked for her.

Peter squeezed her shoulder again and leaned closer. She drew in a breath, unable to move away from him. She wasn’t scared, but she felt paralyzed.
