“Why did you do that?” Sara blurted as soon as Leo was outside.
Megan grinned. “Because he’s the guy. You don’t just let a guy like Leo Young walk out of your life. You have fun with him.”
“Have fun? Is he that kind of guy?” The idea had promise, but Sara saw Leo as a serious guy who was looking for a family. Not a casual hook up.
Megan laughed. “Aren’t they all? Yeah, he wants a family, but he hasn’t been a monk his whole life.”
For some reason, the idea of Leo with someone else lit a fire in Sara’s gut. She didn’t want to think about him with anyone else.
“That look? That’s why you need to go out with him tonight. He knows you’re leaving. He knows you’re not getting attached. He came here to find you anyway. Go have fun.”
Sara took a deep breath and nodded. Fun. She could have fun.
