Nonna and Zach’s words stayed with Leo the rest of the day and into the weekend. He was looking for someone. He wanted to find love. He’d gotten to where he was ready to settle down. He just hadn’t found the woman who was going to settle with him.
Leo was up early Saturday morning to meet Peter. It was the only time they could get together to go fishing. Dillon wanted to talk more that afternoon, but Leo needed a break first. Some way to distance himself from being the next CEO and just be himself for a few hours.
Peter let himself in to Leo and Ryan’s house before the sun was up. Leo had a cup of coffee ready for each of them and handed one over, then followed Peter back outside. Ryan got called to a fire late the night before, so they were quiet as they made their escape.
