A few howls welcomed us as we joined the party. Food had been brought out and set on tables, along with all kinds of drinks and alcohol. Loud music played from speakers, and people were already starting to dance. A few pups raced through the grass, playing and nipping at each other, and I smiled as I watched them go. Kaden was pulled away by Clayton, Jack, and Dane, while I headed for the food table, where I spotted my friends.
Harper gave me a congratulatory slap on the back. “Welcome to the pack,” she said, grinning. “Again.”
I gave her a hug. “Thank you."
Stella was practically vibrating at Harper's side. “Can I give you another hug? Our first one as sisters?”
