"I guess, I'm not still used to it," I scratched the back of my head awkwardly. I and Kaiser were really close and he doted on me like he doted on Hillary... now that I think about it, this makes it look like he sees me as a daughter rather than a son or maybe both. I genuinely couldn't ask for a better dad but I also didn't want to get too comfortable with being part of his family. I've had my own share of being abandoned by family.
