  ELEO   I had gotten to the class for our little showdown, only to find myself sitting in a timeout corner of the classroom. The homeroom teacher had split me and Brad up, dragging us into different rooms to cool down. She had made sure to bandage my knuckles, which hurt like crazy but felt worth it.   What was not worth it was being stuck here with Brad. The teacher warned us, "If I have to call your parents about this, there will be serious consequences." I couldn't help but roll my eyes at that. As if those threats ever worked. I just wanted to knock some sense into Brad for all the garbage he said.   Just as I was about to speak up, Brad interrupted with a mocking tone, "What are you gonna say, Eleo? That you don't even have parents? I heard your dad is your mom, and that's gross!
