Mom had been acting strange ever since that night but at least he wasn't that way today.
"Eli? Mommy's heading out, will you be okay?" He hugged me so tight I could barely breathe.
"I'm free today so I and Eleo are going to spend today together," Zara held my hand.
"Alright. You two should have fun," mom smiled brightly before kissing me on the forehead. " Be a good boy, okay?"
"I will," I nodded my head. Mom was always worried about the littlest things when it concerned me so I always did my best to keep his mind at rest.
