Chapter 14 It was still dark when I met Jeremy downstairs. I rubbed my bare arms, surprised to actually feel cool outside. “Mornin’,” Jeremy greeted. I yawned. “Not sure if oh-four-fifteen counts as morning.” “C’mon.” Jeremy started walking towards the front gate, suitcase in tow. I grabbed my bag and followed, mesmerised by the rumbling of the suitcase wheels on the bitumen.
