Chapter 10 Mandy sat on the couch with bloodshot eyes and tearstained cheeks. “Do you want a cuppa?” I called from the kitchen as I flicked on the kettle. “Nah, I’m ‘right.” Mandy raised her hand, displaying a half-empty vodka premix. At ten am on a Sunday morning? Okay then. I carried my steaming cup of coffee to the lounge room and sat beside her. “What happened?” I took a sip, then placed my mug on the coffee table beside several empty glass bottles. Urgh.
