Cassie’s POV:
After a long while of awkward conversations with Luke and an even longer while for looking for my mom’s house, we were finally there. I couldn’t believe I didn’t believe in soulmates and there I was thinking Damian was my soulmate, I mean it made sense. We met in the craziest way and ever since the first day I felt drawn and connected to him, like connected in a very deep way and I wasn’t a hundred percent sure but I felt he felt that way too.
My mom came out of the house almost immediately we parked.
‘ Mom! ’, Luke screamed as he got off the car and went to hug her.
She hugged him back and chuckled. ‘ Oh, I’m so glad to see you ’, she said as she hugged him even tighter. ‘ What took you guys so long? ’, she turned to ask me still hugging Luke.
‘ We went the wrong way ’
