Cassie’s POV:
I couldn’t help but think how about how Damian would be doing. I really hope he was enjoying himself in this party and that he was having fun because he had been looking forward to it all week. He literally didn’t shut up about it and I wondered if he met Evelyn, I really hoped they got along if he did because they really don’t on a good day.
I thought about calling him but I didn’t want to ruin his fun and my phone was almost dead, I hadn’t plugged it in throughout the journey and us missing our way didn’t make it have any more battery, I used the GPS all through so it was basically drained and I also forgot to bring my charger. I finally decided on using whatever was left of the battery to call Damian but immediately I brought the phone out of my pocket it switched off.
