Alex POV:
I was really happy I got to see Damian one last time. Even after his father forbade me from seeing him I was always there, he never saw me though, but I was always there. I would always be somewhere in the crowd in every event he went for, I always looked from afar whenever he stared out the window, even though I couldn’t go to him I tried my best to always be there for him as much as I could.
It was nice to see how much he had grown over the years. The amount of good memories we didn’t create all because of his father, the amount of good things he missed out on doing all because of his father, made me feel sad, for both of us. I was sure Damian wasn’t happy when he was in the palace, but now, he was surrounded by good people that made him really happy. I could never take that
