Bryan held me the entire flight, which kept me calm during the flight. It has been almost 6 hours since I last talked to Mateo. As soon as we landed, the four of us got in the car Bryan had waiting. A short ride later, we were at Bryan’s hotel. He grabbed the keys to the penthouse and we got in the elevator. “Can’t we see Mateo?” “Honey, let’s get to the penthouse and send him a message and see if he is awake? He has a penthouse room too. So we will be one room over.” “I know you are right. I will just feel better when I see him.” “I know babe.” As soon as we entered the room, I pulled out my phone and sent Mateo a message. He responded immediately and within minutes he and Zoey were at our door. I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him like he was going to disappear. Ever
