Chapter 17

The next two months went by even faster. We were getting 2 weeks off for Thanksgiving. This way, anybody that needed to travel out of the country had time.

I got one more call and this time I used it to call my Alpha. I knew Oli wasn’t going home to see his family and I didn’t want him staying here by himself. Alpha Edward agreed and even said he would talk to my parents about me.

Now I just had to ask Oli and hope he would agree to come. We would be leaving in 3 days, which didn’t give him a lot of time to think about it.

“Hey Oli.”

“Hey pretty lady.”

“I was wondering for Thanksgiving if you wanted to come home with me?”

He looked at me and his face showed his surprise. “What?”

“I talked to my Alpha and asked if I could bring a guest home with me and he said yes. Instead of staying here alone, I thought you might want to come home with me.” I said, hopeful he would agree.

“You want me to come with you? Won’t it embarrass you that I am an Omega?”

“Are you serious? No! Pack your bags. I will let Titan know you are coming with me.”

The next couple of days were a blur of studying and tests. Demetri left on Friday as soon as the finals were completed. It hurt a little to see him go, but it was only for two weeks. The following morning, we rode in a bus filled with Elite recruits to the airport.

We said goodbye to Mateo because he was on a different plane. I boarded a plane with both Bryan and Oli. Which I know Bryan had something to do with our travel arrangements.

“So when I get home I will talk to my Alpha about you coming right after Thanksgiving. Is that enough time for you to see your grandparents and deal with your business?”

Bryan gave me a reassuring smile. “That is more than enough time. But don’t worry, I will call you every day until we can see each other.”

“What if he says no?”

“He won’t say no. Trust me.”

I was excited for Bryan to meet my family and nervous all at the same time. Less than two hours later, we were landing in Colorado where Bryan lives. He kissed me like it was our last.

“I hope that can hold me over for 6 days.” He said, placing one last kiss on my lips.

“I am going to miss you.”

“It’s only 6 days and you will be in my arms again. But I will miss you too.”

Titan broke up our goodbye session and sent Bryan on his way. We were in the air again right away and less than two hours later we were in Texas. The ride from the airport to my pack house felt like forever, but Oli kept me busy with about 100 questions.

Titan stopped the car in front of my pack house.

“Alright kids. I will be picking you up at 5 AM on two Fridays from today. You got it?”

“Yes sir.” Oli and I said in unison.

“Don’t worry, I will call and remind you just in case. Enjoy your time away.”

Oli and jumped out of the car and grabbed our bags.

“Come on. I will introduce you to my Alpha first and then we will go to my house.”

We walked into the pack house and I knocked on Alpha’s office. Before I knocked, I could smell my mate was here. I pushed the feelings that rose inside of me down and knocked on the door.

“Enter.”

I pushed the door open. As soon as I stepped in, I was engulfed in a huge and familiar scent of Wyatt. Well, almost familiar, it had changed a little with him mating to his Luna.

“I can’t believe you are home! I have missed you so much.”

I started laughing, “I have missed you too, Wyatt.” As soon as he let go, Alpha Edward was there hugging me too.

“We are so happy to have you home Liv.”

“Thank you Alpha. This is Oli.” I said, turning to Oli.

They quickly shook hands before I noticed my mate staring at me and his father sitting next to him.

“I am so sorry.” I said, looking at Alpha Mason. “It is nice to see you again, Alpha Mason. This here is Oli. He is part of my pack at the Elite Academy.

Alpha Mason shook Oli’s hand too and then took a step back and looked at me from head to toe.

“The Elite Academy has been treating your body good.”

I felt my face turn red. I was usually really good at controlling my emotions, but this time I was caught off guard.

“Thank you.” I knew my body was looking amazing. The training was intense and they fed us super healthy. I was dying for a piece of pizza. But I was also filling in more as a woman.

Before an awkward silence could fill the room, the door flew open and in rushed my parents, Noah, Anna and the twins.

I was again engulfed in hugs and tears from both of my parents. Oli stood to the side looking uncomfortable.

Alpha Edward laughed. “Sorry kid, I mind linked them the second I smelled you walk in the room.

“Mom, Dad, Noah, Anna, Travis and Taylor….. This is Oli.”

Before he could say anything, my Mother engulfed him in a hug that even surprised me. Then she turned back to me. “Tomorrow I have a spa day and shopping planned for just you and me. Your Dad and Noah are going to take Oli golfing. Oh baby I missed you so much.”

“ok Mom.”

“Tonight I assume you will be with your family for dinner and it sounds like tomorrow is already decided, but how does Monday sound for lunch with your old Alpha and your family?” Alpha Edwards asked.

“Sounds good. But now I would love to go home. It’s been a long trip.”

I didn’t look at my mate once. I had no want or need to look at him. What surprised me the most was Aura didn’t even stir when we smelled him in the room.
