As soon as we got to our room, Bryan started getting ready for bed.
“Do you want to talk about it?”
“What is there to talk about? She must be crazy to think I want to be part of the family after everything they have done to me.”
“I know I just want to make sure you are OK.”
“Honestly…I am great. I am about to have a pup with the love of my life.”
I giggled, letting him place kisses all over my neck.
“What about….You know what, never mind.” I said, shaking my head.
“No, no, you tell me.”
“Was it hard seeing Meredith?”
“I thought it might be but it wasn’t. In fact, I felt no pull whatsoever.”
Relief rushed through my body. “Good because you are mine.” I said, pulling him down to me and kissing him with force.
“Always and forever my love.”
