Every day the Maestro di Coro received letters with requests to engage the Pietà choir and orchestra for various events, sometimes for great occasions and others for less formal gatherings. When a request came one day for a soloist and a quartet to provide a musical interlude at a betrothal dinner, the Maestro decided to let Elena have this chance.
