"What?! How are her ribs broken?" I look over the X-rays of Y/N and shake my head. Y/N looks down and fiddles with her fingers. I hold her chin and have her look up at me. "Why are your ribs broken?" Tears brim her eyes "I-It was my b-boss" she cries harder and I clench my jaw. I swipe the tears off of her cheek and lick my lips. What an asshole.

"Why didn't you tell me?!" She frowns and winces, holding her ribs. My eyes soften and I rub her back. "I'm sorry it's just you should've told me.." She looks the other way and shakes her head. It's not her fault.

"It will take months to heal, so bed rest is the key here. I can give medication to take some of the pain away" I nod and pull a seat next to Y/N's bed and hold her hand. "So forget that hell, you're not going back there" but I am. She nods slowly and closes her eyes and lays her head back.

I hope I'll be able to take her home tonight, she needs to be comfortable. The Doctor signs some papers and leaves the room. We need to get out of here,I don't like the vibe of this place.

"I want to lay down.." Y/N eats her food carefully on the bed and I hand her a napkin. "Okay,be careful" I grab the bowl from her grasp and out it on the table. I slowly ease her down into a laying position and put the covers up to her neck. "Are you comfy?" She shakes her head and scrunches up her face. "Not really..I like sleeping on my side" I frown and sigh. "That'll be too much pressure on your ribs .." She rubs her ribs and frowns.

I get into my king bed slowly and lay right next to her. "If you need anything you can tell me" She smiles and nods. I get under the covers and can't help but wonder why or how he broke her ribs. He's going to pay for it,why would you harm a woman? Or anyone-well I'm about to do that.

I click the lamp off and shut my eyes. I'm ready for tomorrow. I'm going to make my way over to that club and beat the lying cramp out of him.
