The Rule of College: Three

I follow the class into the assembly and we sit in the first three rows. Y/N gets up from the seat and runs to the back of the stage. I guess she's one of the 'talents' we'll be seeing today.

Ms.Johnson smirks at me for the fifth time today and I smile awkwardly. I feel extremely uncomfortable under her gaze. The lights shut off and a spot light comes on the stage. The principle waves at everyone and holds the mic. "We have amazing talent today! So amazing that today is the day that we are going to focus on art and our talent." Everyone is cheering, including me. I'm glad I won't have to teach today.

"Now, You might see a familiar face throughout the whole assembly because this student is very talented and involved with extracurricular classes" She looks to her left and Y/N walks out and she giggles as the principle gives her the mic. "Explain why you love what you do" she nods and giggles as her cheeks turn pink.

"Well.. Hi everyone! I'm Y/N and I love to dance and sing. I've danced since I was one years old, I always went to competitions and such when I was young. I started singing when I turned seven. I barely discovered my voice and I would watch Beyonce music videos and sing and dance. Here are some videos.." She moves to the side and a video pops on the screen.

A young Y/N jumps up and down and turns up the TV. "Come on baby,show me what you got!" Her mother motivates her and young Y/N struts and shakes her hips. 'Deja vu' comes on and she grabs her daddy's hand and dances around him. Y/N winks at the camera and blows a kiss. "Can I have an autograph Y/N?!" Her mother plays along and Y/N puts her shades on "Of course honey, after my concert" She shakes her hips and twirls around. She shakes her curly hair around and copy's Beyonce.

The video ends and everyone laughs. "So yeah..that's me. I breathe singing and dancing. It's the one thing that doesn't fail to make me happy. I choreographed a dance.. So my friends will give you a show! Give it up for the Blue devils.." The dancers run out and she poses in front of them.
