4 Nico I sat behind my desk to keep a barrier between us. I needed something to block me from her. To keep that distance. Her eyes said she’d lose it if I got close to her, but the pulse through my body said I needed to. I needed to show her exactly what she did to me. I wouldn’t. I couldn’t.
