My face boiled with detest as we both watched the humans buy the feathers and leave the hall. I was weak. After the sale, Zara and I were left alone with the lady on the stage and the man behind her. Another lady entered the room from behind the stage and took away the remains of the wings - which wasn't much. "Bring them down," I heard the lady who addressed us say, and she moved towards the counter on the stage. The man in suit ambled towards us with a smirk across his face.
