I bounced to the left when he threw a fist at me. Gripping him by the arm, I rounded my arm on his neck and entered a shower with him.
He was breathing shakily, obviously scared of his life. His heart thumped heavily, occasionally missing a beat.
"Now, you're going to tell me what you are? And why you killed Vera." I tightened my grasp on his neck. "In case you haven't noticed, your life is in my hands and I could kill you with a snap of your neck."
"I didn't Kill Vera."
"You're still stubborn at the brink of death."
He sighed. "I'm serious, I didn't kill her. I love her so much to do that."
"So who did?"
"No one."
"Boy, I'm going to kill you." I tightened my hand more and he began to let out croaks.
"No one killed her cause she's alive."
